Q&A

Question: How much do you charge to review my legal concern?
Answer: Nothing. All initial consultations, whether over the phone or in person, are conducted free of charge.

Question: How do I know if I need a criminal defense attorney?
Answer: If you have been charged with crime or are concerned that you will be charged with a crime, you need to consult with one of our criminal defense attorneys. An investigation or criminal charge can result in the loss of your liberty, your driving privileges, your job and reputation. Our criminal defense attorneys are committed to ensuring that our clients are treated fairly in the criminal justice system.

Question: How much will you charge to represent me?
Answer: On personal injury cases we generally do not charge our clients a fee to be paid up-front; we work on a contingency fee basis which means that we receive a fee only if we make a recovery on your behalf. If we do not recover on your case, you will not be charged attorneys' fees.

On criminal matters every case is different--the facts, the types of charges--and you should consult with one of our criminal defense attorneys, all of whom are former prosecutors with years of experience in the criminal justice system.

Question: Why should I hire you for my personal injury matter?
Answer: We are the largest personal injury firm in Coweta County, devoting more attorneys, legal staff and trial experience to personal injury cases than any other firm in Coweta County. You will have contact with the attorneys handling your case, and we will keep you informed with the status of your case. We have represented thousands of injured persons in courts in Coweta County, throughout Georgia, and across the United States.

Question: Why should I hire you for my criminal defense matter?
Answer: With three former prosecutors on our team of criminal defense attorneys, we are the largest criminal defense firm in this geographical area. We have more combined years of criminal trial experience than any other law firm in the area. We regularly practice in city, state, and superior courts, representing persons accused of everything from minor traffic violations to murder. We have the experience and expertise to protect your rights.

Question: Should I look for a lawyer that focuses in limited areas of law?
Answer: We believe that by specializing in only two areas of law: personal injury and criminal defense, we can be on top of, and sometimes leading, changes in the law in these fields. By concentrating on these types of cases we maintain a level of expertise unattainable by lawyers who handle multiple types of law.

Question: My criminal charge or personal matter is in Coweta County Georgia, should I hire a local attorney or should I bring in an outsider from Atlanta?
Answer: We believe that by maintaining an active presence in the local courts, we consistently achieve better results than attorneys who are not familiar with our local courts, judges, and community.

Question: I have been injured in an automobile accident, why do I need an attorney?
Answer: Even though the insurance company will initially speak with you as if they are on your side, the insurance adjuster's job is to pay as little money as possible on your injury claim. Our experience in negotiating and litigating auto accident cases allows us to maximize the recovery for our clients. Insurance companies have invested billions of dollars in their automated systems in to create sophisticated processes to minimize the amounts they pay to unrepresented injured persons. If you have been injured in an auto accident, you need an attorney with expertise and experience in dealing with the insurance industry.
